Therapy is provided through playful, interactive, educational activities. Information is provided to parents through the therapy process to promote home based practice and parents and caregivers as active participants in the therapy process.
Jayne Larson, Speech-Language Pathologist, was co-founder and co-owner of The Live Oak Center for Communication Disorders from 1988 to 2017. With the close of The Live Oak Center, Jayne opened a new practice, to continue serving children across all types of communication disorders in the Austin area. Referrals are made through pediatricians, neurologists, teachers and parents. In-network insurance coverage is possible through BCBS-TX, UHC, AETNA & Humana.
Jayne Larson is licensed by the State of Texas and Certified by The American Speech Language Hearing Association. Jayne studied at Texas State University and The University of Texas at Dallas-Callier Center for Communication Disorders. She holds both a BS and an MS in Communication Disorders and Speech-Language Pathology.
